Government £10 million domestic abuse charities fund

Government £100,000 Food Charities Grant Fund

The Youth Endowment Fund’s COVID-19 grant round
The Youth Endowment Fund has opened a new £6.5m COVID19 grant round to support vulnerable children in England and Wales at risk of youth violence. 50% of the total funding available will be reserved for charities and social enterprises. Council for Mosques launches £100,000 COVID-19 Mosque Support Fund
Bradford Council for Mosques (CfM) has earmarked £100,000 Mosque Support Fund in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. This initial fund is available for mosques within the Bradford District that are in hardship to help with running and maintenance costs during the national lockdown and will be capped at £1,000 per application.
Charities Aid Foundation (UK) - Coronavirus Emergency Fund
Smaller charities, not for profit organisations, social enterprises and unregistered community groups can apply for grants of up to £10,000 to help them to continue to deliver much needed support to within their communities. The funding is available to help with core costs, staffing, volunteer costs, supplies and equipment, communications or other critical charitable areas. CAF will aim for grants to be paid to selected organisations within 14 days of application.
Help Musicians (UK) - Coronavirus Financial Hardship Fund
The £5million pound Coronavirus Financial Hardship fund has been created to alleviate some of the immediate financial pressures that many professional musicians are currently facing with regard to their mounting household expenses. Eligible musicians can apply for a one-off payment of £500 if they are suffering significant financial hardship.
John Lewis Partnership (UK) - Community Support Fund
The Community Support Fund is making £1million available to communities across the UK. Teams in each shop will work together with their communities to choose the best way to use the fund. Help could include setting up additional local delivery services to support the self-isolating, the vulnerable, the elderly and those looking after them; delivering boxes of staples to local care homes and community groups, and donating products to create care packages for customers to share with vulnerable neighbours.
One Community Foundation (Kirklees) - The NET Coronavirus Emergency Fund
The NET Coronavirus Emergency Fund has been created to provide grants of up to £1,000 to the organisations helping those most affected by the Covid-19 crisis. Funding is available to support the following types of activities: support the on-going needs of vulnerable people to ensure that their health and wellbeing is maintained; support of activities that relieve pressure on local statutory services, particularly emergency or health and social care provisions, or compliment their response; Groups and activities that support vulnerable people self-isolating (the elderly, people with pre-existing medical conditions, etc.); Support for food banks and organisations working to combat hardship caused by the pandemic, including child hunger.
Sport England (England) - Community Emergency Fund
This new fund aims to help community sport and physical activity organisations who are experiencing short term financial hardship or the ceasing of operations due to the ongoing coronavirus crisis. Awards will be between £300 and £10,000. In exceptional circumstances Sport England will consider awards of more than £10,000.
Radio Aire Cash for Kids Appeal Application
Basic Essentials Family Grants are available to organisations seeking to help the individual families they work with affected by poverty due to the Covid-19 virus. £35 per child is available for children up to and including the age of 18 as soon as funds are available.
