The Safer Communities Fund is currently closed for applications.

It is likely that a new grant round will be announced early in the autumn 2021.

The grant round timetable is listed below. Grant rounds are allocated in line with the outcomes and priorities in the Police and Crime Plan. Grant rounds may be themed to specific priorities and outcomes within the plan, or generic and be allocated in line with any of the priorities and outcomes.

Grant round twenty
The theme for Grant Round 20 will be ‘’Supporting communities’’. We want to help those most in need and so are looking for projects who work with individuals and groups of people which fall into that category, we would especially welcome projects across all our priority areas which support children, young people, older people including victims and those harmed by crime. As in previous rounds we welcome early intervention and prevention projects alongside those which offer therapy or support. Projects must be able to work within the Covid lockdown or covid restriction periods. Note: Projects which relate to the above priorities are our focus but all projects will be considered.

Grant round nineteen
Grant round 19 welcomes applications to cover all priorities, however the following will be the focus: Grant round 19 will focus on applications which support: a) BAME communities b) Hate Crime
